Walton County ARES is soon to complete the installation of a digipeater in a centralized location to serve the County and surrounding areas.  It is our intent to have an APRS system up in the near future. 

        In accordance with the Georgia plans for emergency digital networks, we are intending to run a WinLink system as needed.

        The WCERC, Inc. has completed work on constructing an APRS Digipeter.  The system consists of a Motorola transceiver with 110 watts output.  The system will be coupled to a Kantronics KPC3+ TNC.
