A very big heartfelt thank you goes out to AT&T and Don Klinger and his crew over at the Monroe facility.  They went out of their way to donate a fiber splice trailer and a new generator to our club.  We will make great use of the equipment to further our club activities and to assist in completing our ARES mission.  They really are a great bunch of guys over there, so if you ever run into them, tell them hello and thanks for all their help and efforts.

The Walton County Sheriff's Department

    The Walton County Emergency Radio Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. 

    We are in need of sponsors and donations to make this club and our mission to support the Walton County Amateur Radio Emergency Service a reality.

    We will accept any and all monetary donations, as well as any equipment deemed necessary for the furtherance of our mission.

    Currently we need repeater equipment for VHF and UHF, repeater space on a tower in Walton County, digital equipment, test equipment, radio equipment of any kind, antennas, cable, vehicles, trailers, ambulances, etc.

    Our goal is to be an ever vigilant source of deployable communications for Walton County, Georgia, the surrounding areas, or anywhere else we may be needed.
